The two bars featured, Lord Jims and the Royal Oak are two of San Francisco's Fern Bars. The bars were decorated in a manner that would attract female customers. This adds sub text to Mike (John Leslie) choosing them for his activities. Many ferns are visible in the Royal Oak scene with Isabel (Jackie O'Neil).
The red E-type Jaguar crash can be seen in Mannix S03E06 Death Has No Face. It is also reported as being used in Remington Steele. It appears to be an expensive movie stunt that has made it into a stock footage library.
