Joseph Zaso is indeed an actor that deserves more screen time.....he plays a VERY convincing (loony perv)....The movie is very entertaining and watchable. It&#39;s worth a look and hopefully we will see a lot more from Mr. Zaso in the future. This movie is on a DVD with And Then They Were Dead.... That one deserves a look as well, all these are great quality productions and well worth the price. Don&#39;t miss out on these films You owe it to yourself to see Mr. Zaso for yourself and be mesmerized by the characters he portrays with such gusto.

Guilty Pleasures

This is really two movies in one: I didn&#39;t get the connection until reading the synopsis. The first: Nocturnal Emissions is a very erotic thriller, but the storytelling is a little choppy (pun intended) and some of the special effects were a bit cheesy. However, that&#39;s low budget horror... Joe Zaso is very handsome, and plays the perv a little too convincingly. The second movie: Method to the Madness is written and directed by Zaso, but unfortunately he doesn&#39;t have a part. Of the two, I liked the story here better. Very creepy. Also, the over-the-top acting coach added nice comic relief, and I&#39;m sure they were poking fun at some off the wall acting classes that are out there.

Two beautiful women who both live in the same apartment complex find themselves caught up in their own terrifying urban nightmares. First and sleaziest segment, &quot;Nocturnal Emissions&quot; - Luscious lass Silvia Rasino (buxom and tasty brunette knockout Alexandra Paulhiac) has her hands full dealing with a trio of psychotic admirers. Writer/director Joseph F. Parda does an ace job of creating a supremely seamy atmosphere by putting an explicit emphasis on grotty gore as well as leering and scuzzy, yet still yummy nudity. The restless hand-held camera-work provides an extra jot of sordid energy. Moreover, Joe Zaso contributes a hilariously depraved performance as a smarmy pervert detective while Kevin Ratigan slimes it up with lip-smacking repellent aplomb as a scary obscene phone caller. Second and most freaky yarn, &quot;Method to the Madness&quot; - Aspiring actress RoseMarie Curtis (winningly played by the lovely Sasha Graham) descends into madness after joining a method acting school. Writer/director Zaso relates the engrossing story at a steady pace, grounds the plot in a credible workaday reality, ably crafts a creepy and sinister mood, and pulls out all the stops for the deliriously macabre climax. Graham makes for a sympathetic lead, with colorful and entertaining support from Liz Haverty as brash gal pal Louise and Joe Marzano as flamboyant acting instructor Claude DeCarlo. J. Foam&#39;s scrappy cinematography gives this picture an appropriately ratty washed-out look. Jerry Djersassi&#39;s catchy&#39;n&#39;groovy pumping score hits the gnarly spot. A fun flick.
