Vermin

Edit
Two of the handful of CalArts sound transfer "guys" on "VERMIN" went on to fame and fortune elsewhere. Stephen Hillenburg went on to create "SpongeBob SquarePants," perhaps somewhat inspired or tortured by transferring endless hours of director/editor Chris Innis' sound effect splats, boinks and doinks; and Steve Hanft (who also worked on sound transfer for "VERMIN"), who Innis befriended at CalArts, went on to be the respected indie filmmaker/music video director of Beck's "Loser" and many other music videos, and who was lead singer of the then unknown band "Loser" with folk rapster Beck Hansen (before Beck became famous with his hit song, "Loser.")
Art Director/Production designer and successful artist, Cynthia Ona Innis, is the sister of the director, Chris Innis.
Several members of the group "Arroz Con Pollo" worked on this production. "Arroz Con Pollo" was an independent group of filmmakers that gathered and worked together at CalArts to produce several short films and includes primary members: M. David Mullen, Charlie Wiener, Chris Innis, Lowell Boston, Destiny Itano and Susan Barnet.
