Alyas Batman en Robin (1991)

Trivia

Alyas Batman en Robin

Edit
Tiyo Paenguin, the name of Panchito's character in this film is not only a play on its alter-ego, Tiyo Paeng and Penguin, it is also a play on the word "Chupa", a Tagalog slang for blow-job.
The film was originally produced by Viva Films and slated to be released in early 1989. Shooting lasted until June 1989, with Joey de Leon and Rene Requiestas alleging that Dawn Zulueta was causing delays in the final weeks of shooting due to prioritizing her other commitments. However, Warner Bros. threatened to file a lawsuit against Viva for copyright infringement, causing the release of the film to be delayed until legal entanglements could be sorted out. The film was eventually released by Regal Films on April 1991.
As of 2017,this is the last Batman live-action film adaptation that features Penguin and Joker working together.
The last theatrical film that features Joey De Leon, Rene Requiestas and Panchito together.
Robin's costume is actually the logo of rival film studio Regal Films instead of the robin logo.
