- GH-7 Medical Droid: Medically, she is completely healthy. For reasons we can't explain, we are losing her.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: She's dying?
- GH-7 Medical Droid: We don't know why. She has lost the will to live. We need to operate quickly if we are to save the babies.
- Senator Bail Organa: Babies?
- GH-7 Medical Droid: She's carrying twins.
- [last lines]
- Senator Bail Organa: Captain Antilles.
- Captain Antilles: Yes, Your Highness?
- Senator Bail Organa: I'm placing these droids in your care. Treat them well, clean them up, have the protocol droid's mind wiped.
- [leaves]
- C-3PO: What?
- [R2-D2 chuckles about C-3PO's coming misfortune]
- C-3PO: Oh, no!
- Supreme Chancellor: And the Jedi rebellion has been foiled.
- Senator Bail Organa: What's happened?
- Padmé: The Chancellor's been elaborating on a plot by the Jedi to overthrow the Senate.
- Supreme Chancellor: The remaining Jedi will be hunted down and defeated!
- Yoda: Hidden, safe, the children must be kept.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: We must take them somewhere where the Sith will not sense their presence.
- Yoda: Hmm, split up they should be.
- Senator Bail Organa: My wife and I will take the girl. We've always talked of adopting a baby girl. She will be loved with us.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: And what of the boy?
- Yoda: To Tatooine, to his family send him.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: [nods] I will take the child and watch over him.
- [Senator Organa and Obi-Wan stand]

- [they bow; Senator Organa leaves]

- [Obi-Wan sits back down]

- Obi-Wan Kenobi: [confused] Training?
- Yoda: An old friend has learnt the path to immortality. One who has returned from a netherworld of the Force. Your old master.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: [in disbelief] Qui-Gon!
- Yoda: [nods] How to commune with him I will teach you.
- Captain Colton: We're receiving a message from the Chancellor's office, sir.
- Senator Bail Organa: Send it through.
- Captain Colton: Yes, sir.
- [the pilot pushes some buttons and Mas Amedda appears on screen]
- Mas Amedda: Senator Organa... the Supreme Chancellor requests your presence at a special session of Congress.
- Senator Bail Organa: I will be there.
- Mas Amedda: He'll be expecting you.
- [Mas Amedda's image disappears and Bail turns to Yoda and Obi-Wan]
- Senator Bail Organa: Could be a trap.
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: I don't think so. The Chancellor will not be able to control the thousands of star systems without keeping the Senate intact.
- Yoda: If a special session of Congress, there is, easier for us to enter the Jedi Temple, it will be.
- [Senator Organa arrives at the Jedi Temple during Order 66]
- Senator Bail Organa: What's going on here?
- Commander Appo: There's been a rebellion, sir. Don't worry. The situation is under control.
- [Appo aims his blaster at Senator Organa]
- Commander Appo: I'm sorry, sir. It's time for you to leave.
