Dirch Passer considered this movie as one of his best.
The music and the pictures from Copenhagen are splendid, The movie features beside Dirch Passer other fine danish actors, how act their best in the comedy genre.
Pigen og milionæren is directed by Ebbe Langberg, Known as "first lover" in many earlier movies. Her changed successfully into Theater in the seventies.
The movie give a picture of the "slang" spoken at that time especially Axel Strøby is great.
I have seen this movie as child in the sixties and seen it again on Video & Telvevision - I'm still amused

Dirch Passer without a doubt was the best comedy actor in Denmark. His problem in a long career, was the movie scripts. They simply wasn't good enough, didn't match his high standard. He did a lot of films, but very few was really good.
This here is one of them. He plays the part of Jens, an import/export boss, and a millionaire. He's married to the world known pianist Marlene. They have lived apart for the last two years, but never divorced.
Jens is living the wild playboy life. One day on a shooting range he is hit in the head with a clay pigeon. As a result he loses his memory.
The race is on, Jens gotta get his memory back. The honor of the success of this film, doesn't only belong to Dirch Passer. Two other parts were really well played. Axel Strøbye played the manager of Marlene and Paul Hagen played the butler of Jens.

This is one of my favorit Dirch Passer movies. The home-bar scenes whit Aksel Strøby are excellent. Paul Hagen is also great as Jens Møllers butler. The music for the film is made by Bent Fabricius Bjerre(who actually plays a minor part in the film), and is some of his best work.
