The film ends with text "Filmituotanto Spede Pasanen", although the production company "Filmituotanto Spede Pasanen Ky" was not officially registered until 13.10.1967.
With producers' authorization, Finnish Board of Film Classification shortened a bull fighting scene by 15 seconds, thus allowing the film to get certification 'S' (allowed for everyone).
The only feature film produced by "Nova-Filmi" (registered in June 18, 1964). After the film, Spede Pasanen acquired company's existing camera, light, and audio equipment, and flatbed editor.
The scenes in Tenerife (in the Canary Islands) were shot only with a three-person crew: director/actor Spede Pasanen, cinematographer Ilkka Linnasalmi (who also recorded some ambient sounds for post-production with Nagra), and location assistant Timo T. Kaukonen. Filming the bullfighting had been decided in advance, but most of the scenes during the carnival (in Puerto de la Cruz) were improvised on the spot.
