Patrol Boat was about the activities of the crew of a Royal Australian Navy patrol boat which patrolled Australia's coastline.

Lots of action. Now it would seem dated but as a young school student it was great. The actors, in those days, were great - able to show varying emotions. Andrew McFarlane was superb as the captain and the bearded Robert Coleby his sidekick was equally good. I distinctly remember one episode where one of the crew members was stung by a box jellyfish. Scared the living daylights out of me! No war action was featured but what did transpire certainly attracted my attention. I don&#39;t remember much else as it was such a long time ago. I&#39;d like to watch it again some time. I&#39;ll have to try and see if the series is available on video or DVD.
