Aud Schønemann wasn't able to travel to Spain to film her scenes with the other actors. Makeup artist Veslemøy Fosse Ree doubled as Valborg for shots only showing her back. Back in Norway, a replica of the terrace was built in the studio to film all of Aud Schønemann's dialogue. Her dialogue with Egon by the pool was filmed on a roof-top.
