101 Dalmatians: The Series (1997)

Trivia

101 Dalmatians: The Series

Edit
Cruella De Vil quits smoking in this series.
Unlike the films, this series is set in the 1990s and features a more American setting with the characters (except for Cruella De Vil) having American accents.
As mentioned above, there were originally supposed to be five main characters: Lucky, Cadpig, Rolly, Patch, and Penny. Patch was relegated to the role of a minor character, and Penny does not appear in the series at all, as it was feared that there would be too many main characters. Spot was added in later.
This is not the first time Jim Cummings and Cristine Cavanaugh protray father and daughter on a Disney Afternoon program spin-off from a previous Disney production. The first was "Darkwing Duck", which debuted six years before the debut of this show.
Jasper & Horace in this series are voiced by Michael McKean and David L. Lander respectively. Both had previously been the voices of The Vultures Arthur & Cecil in Jungle Cubs (1996), a TV Spin-off to Another 1960s Animated Disney Film, The Jungle Book (1967). Both shows aired on ABC, as part of the network's One Saturday Morning lineup during the block's first season.
