Repligator (1996)

Trivia

Repligator

Edit
Keith Kjornes fractured his right shoulder doing the stunt in his office which made the cut and was the only take.
Keith Kjornes wrote the script in four days.
The whole film was shot in 5 days on 35mm film at the Remington York Studio in Irving, Texas. Director Bret McCormick shot additional footage a year later with Gunnar Hansen and Brinke Stevens on 16mm to bring some name recognition to the production and expand the film from 66 to 86 minutes. Stevens, who was 44 at the time, was also hired to add more nudity to the movie.
Was the brainchild of f/x technician T.G. Weems, who laid out the idea to writer Keith Kjornes after the completion of the movie Time Tracers (1997). Director Bret McCormick had film, sets and equipment left over from that film and wanted to "knock something out" with it before the sets were torn down.
Twelve year old Silky Taylor was the only person small enough to fit into the Repligator suits. The suits had to be duct taped to her because they were falling apart during production. They had been used in "Time Tracers" and weren't meant to last even this long.
