Honey Halfwitch is lonely, so her cousin Maggie has her draw. Honey draws a witch, who turns out to be a lot more powerful than Honey or Maggie in this amusing if distressingly minimalistic Famous Studios cartoon.
Honey was the star of a baker's dozen cartoons over a couple of years and despite some real talent involved -- including Seamus Culhane as producer -- the technical issues never rise above the level of TV cartoons. There was simply no money to budget anything more. This was the year that Famous Studios, which had originated in the early 1920s as the Fleischer Brothers, gave up the ghost. Well, at leas they were decent until the end.
