The on-screen kiss seen in the movie was the first kiss for the first-time actor Terje Luik. The scene gathered the attention of crowds (as it was shot in a public place) and the actress was given a shot of cognac in the nearby Kohvik Moskva to calm the nerves.
A well-known Estonian director Kaljo Kiisk was brought on to direct actors, while Yuli Kun handled the technical side.
