The Wicked (1987)

Trivia

The Wicked

Edit
Final feature film of Australian horror and thriller filmmaker Colin Eggleston.
The movie was originally screened as part of a series of tele-moves called "Tomorrow's News".
This Australian feature film did not garner a theatrical release and went straight to home video in Australia and other markets and territories such as the UK and the USA.
The name of the outback country town was ''Yarralumla''. The movie was actually filmed in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) of Australia in Australia'a capital city of Canberra whose large inner city south suburb of Yarralumla provided the main filming location. As such, thereby the film's setting and the filming location shared the same name. However, Yarralumla in the ACT is not a country town in the Australian outback.
One of only a handful of Australian horror feature films which are vampire movies. These titles are: Thirst (1979), Bloodlust (1992), The Wicked (1987), Queen of the Damned (2002) and Daybreakers (2009). What We Do in the Shadows (2014) was from neighbouring nation New Zealand.
