Bombay 405 Miles (1980)

Trivia

Bombay 405 Miles

Edit
During the shooting of the film, Shatrughan Sinha's stunt double Mansoor passed away in a accident. Mansoor was suppose to jump from the gas petrol station and missed his que. Fight choreographer Shetty always blamed himself because in those days Shetty was drinking heavily. Many have said Shetty was very drunk that day and it was he who was late giving the que for the stunt double to jump. After the incident, Shetty began to drink more heavy due to depression. He passed away 2 years latter
The moaning in the song "Na Na Yeh Kya Karne Lage Ho" was sampled from John & Jackie song "Little Girl"
Brij stated that Vinod Khanna and Shatrughan had major ego hassle's thru out the film. One would not arrive on the sets until the other would. They would argue with Birj to have the best scene's and dialogues. Shatrughan's insecurity and pestering caused Brij to create a look alike Zeenat Aman at the end of the film. This was done so Shatrughan would not look weak losing Zeenat to Vinod.
Vinod Khanna stated that after Do Yaar he knew all was not well between he and Shatrughan. He mentioned that you click with some people and some you don't. He had no bad vibes with Shatrughan but still could tell there was tension. When they signed Bombay 405 Miles they finally broke the ice and reconnected.
Many of the film's background music was released in the International dance album "Bombay The Hardway: Guns Cars and Sitars."
