Mainframe Entertainment's third show after ReBoot and Beast Wars: Transformers.
Some parts of the show used recycled set pieces from other Mainframe's previous show ReBoot: the Prison Planet episodes reused Mainframe to pad out backgrounds.
A third season was planned, which likely would have had the heroes actually achieve a meaningful victory over the Beast Planet. But during the exhibition of season two, the toy line had very low sales in Canada. Because of this, the producers decided to cancel the show because the it was made to promote the toy line.
