Salivate like a Pavlov dog....

This is the story of a bitch (check the title).The movie was remade in 1948 ,and of course Ginette Leclerc,the French par excellence bad gal took on Gina Manès 's(Gance's Josephine in "Napoleon) part.

This is not a very exciting story,being much too predictable and with a moral ending at that.Man spots a sexy woman and he takes her to his circus.As soon as she is in the place,she seduces his son;and the circus' manager is so blind it takes his wife to open his eyes!It will not be long till he falls for the temptress too.To impress her,he takes big risks in his lion-tamer act.

There's a subplot :it involves a clown who does not make people laugh anymore whose number is cancelled;his daughter Nana ,is secretly in love with Leo,the miserable son.
