Early in its 2004-season the series passed episode number 1000, making it the longest running soap opera in Scandinavia.
The landmark 1000th episode took place during the night, and saw three of the main-characters being visited in their dreams by the spirit of Georg Anker-Hansen, the original star of the show who died in the 1999-season (again he was played by veteran actor Toralv Maurstad, after a five-year hiatus).
