Aandhi-Toofan

Edit
Shatrughan Sinha was holidaying in New York with his family when he got frantic phone call from Pahlaj Nihalani. Pahlaj begged Shatrughan to return to Bombay because he needed to shoot the climax scene. Everyone from the cast and crew were present and if Shatrughan did not arrive the film would be delayed for another 6 months. That is when Shatrughan took the next flight out to Bombay immediately. Shatrughan's family were very saddened by their holiday cut short . When Shattughan arrived at the sets he so nobody present except chaiwala's. He was confused as to what happened. He was then told Danny Denzongpa broke his leg that night before and the shooting was now canceled .
Film was made on a huge budget and did average busines initially but after two weeks of its release ,the film gathered huge audience attention, and later the film performed very well.
Film was highly successful at the box office.
The plot was similar to Sholay where the horses were replaced by bikes.
The song " Eye of The Tiger" by Survivor is featured in the movie Aandhi Toofan. It appears during a party in a bar. The original song was in the movie Rocky 3 and used by WWE superstar legend Hulk Hogan during 1982-1984. Eye of the Tiger was sampled for the intro of the song "Jawani Se Mile" (audio version) from Karamyudh. "Aankhiyan Tere Ve " from Kaal also sampled Eye of The Tiger. The title song of "Dum" from the 2003 film also sampled the same song. Bulls Eye" by Shaan, Earl D'Souza from Apne ( 2007) also sampled the same song. The song "Tum Kaali Ho" from Kaala Samrajya was inspired by the song "Eye Of The Tiger" by Foreigner.
