Fortress 2: Re-Entry (2000)

Trivia

Fortress 2: Re-Entry

Edit
The catering for this movie comprised entirely of soup; no solids were allowed whatsoever. In an interview with Sight & Sound in 2012, Lambert himself stated that the reason for this was that at the time he was a member of a radical nutritional cult, and his contract for agreeing to sign on included a clause stating that the catering for the entire cast and crew constitute only soup.
Liz May Brice knocked Pam Grier out cold, when she belt Pam Grier on the chin.
Movie star Christopher Lambert is the only actor from the original 'Fortress' (1992) to reprise his role.
Screenwriter-actor-producer John Flock continued the story of 'Fortress' which he produced with John Davis and was written by Steve Feinberg, Troy Neighbors and Terry Curtis Fox. Flock said: "The high difference with 'Fortress' is that we have moved the prison from underground to a more security space station called Skycell". The story takes place in a new prison ten years later. As an actor John Flock plays Bozinsky, a Russian prisoner.
Third and final of three first sequel (or part two sequel) theatrical feature films directed by New Zealand director Geoff Murphy. The pictures are [in order]: 'Young Guns II' (1990), 'Under Siege 2: Dark Territory' (1995) and 'Fortress 2: Re-Entry' (2000). These three action sequel movies were all first released about five years apart all within about a decade or ten year period and were each from different film genres - western, adventure-thriller and science-fiction respectively.
