Raw Toonage (1992)

Trivia

Raw Toonage

Edit
The creation of this series arose partially from the production difficulties with the series, Bonkers (1993). It was suggested since the title character was supposed to be star of cartoon shorts, then it would be logical to produce some to compliment the series. This idea was accepted and combined with the then unused film rights to the Belgian comic strip, "Marsupilami," and the original satirical series, "Totally Tasteless Videos" to create the overall series. Since the production of this series was shorter than "Bonkers," this allowed the title character to be introduced to the public before his main series began.
So many Marsupilami segments are featured via Pinata Farms.
As of 2002, this program is no longer shown on television following a lawsuit filed against Disney for the breach of contract with use of the character Marsupilami in 1997 as the rights were handed back to Marsu Productions a few years later. With that, it is unlikely that this show will ever be released on either physical media or Disney+. Additionally, even prior to the lawsuit, the show was never given a VHS, Betamax or Laserdisc release in North America.
On Uberduck, Marsupilami was the first character to have a text to speech. He was added on October 22, 2021.
