All of the historical accounts of nudism presented by the nudists in the film are legitimate.
Due to her appearance in this film, Gail Ward actually became a naturist in real life.
A behind-the-scenes look at the production of the film, accompanied by photographs, was included in issue 6 of volume 86 of Health and Efficiency, a magazine about naturism.
Director Gail Hardman went on to direct a film for British Gas in 1988 (entitled "Gas Lines"). Tony Monroe (then credited as Phil Banyard), made an appearance in the film.
