Many people think Count Quacula ripped off the British Cartoon Count Duckula that also features a vampire duck but fortunately this is actually falsehood due to Count Quacula being made before Count Duckula.
The first season featured a segment of "The Great Space Chase" in each of its 16 episodes. In 1982, the 16 segments were re-edited into an 86-minute feature film, titled: "Mighty Mouse in The Great Space Chase: The Motion Picture." The film was released theatrically, and distributed on VHS.
