    Super-duper action flicker

I must admit, I knew this flicker was not the representation of real seals, however, I truly enjoyed the storyline of the flicker. Any time you can associate with the plite of persons, one can supplant themselves into the characters celluloid life.

Moreover, being one that toils behind a desk all day long futzing with numbers as an accountant would, it makes me relax to visualize exteriors from other parts of the world. I was truly amazed that this flicker was shot in Bulgaria, while it appeared as though it were the middle of Caribbean Sea and San Francisco. Surprising. The acting was genuine. The cinematography was well done. Moreover the action scenes were well done. Cheerio. Carry on.

These critics take themselves too serious

I read every critic's review and i have to tell you that some of these people think they know something about making moving pictures. To make a moving picture takes a lot of people. I make movies and I see this movie and I like the movie. The movie did not have to many special affects but they act good. I believe the actors and I like the story. I do not see any Cecil B Demills in the name box of critics so they should go to make a moving pictures before they say something to the bad side. I do not like French moving pictures because they are so slow and boring with the long shots they think are interesting and arty. If you make this movie against other action American movies with big stars that don't do their own action, and they fake it.

Reminds me of my Time in the Service

I was in a Special Forces Unit in Nam. Our friendships we established were first and foremost, our primary reason for risking our lives. To defend each other...our country...our freedom. When the lead actor (Fitzpatrick) is faced with the murder of his wife, his friends step up to defend him. That's what we did.

No stars, no over the top heroics. Just realistic and practical. One of the very action films I've seen in my life time that were as eerily close as this one to being accurate. One can squabble over the dialogue throughout the film, but as with any story there has to be a set backdrop for characters to become real to us. You have to know a little about these guys before you can really feel for them. It's what movies have to do so we root for them. This particular film is truly a great one. The last scene depicts what every combat vet knows and feels, as we took to the battle field. Kill or be killed. Hunt, or be hunted. Live, or die...like our motto, "Kill'em all, let God sort'em out."

Man, this guy is All American prototype.

Most of the films I have seen in school are always trying to be artsy-fartsy, right? I watch this movie and I see a simplistic yet emotionally involving film because of the subject matter. What would you do if someone killed your wife???? Hello? I would do what this character does, go after the SOB. I have to to say, I have not rented This actor's (James Fitzpatrick) other action movies, but if they are as good as this one, I will rent them all. I'm sure because the U.S.Seals are in a time of war with the terrorists, they would not want to reveal all of their tactics and strategies, but, I still like the fact of the story that the film takes us on a ride throughout Bulgaria, Turkey and parts of the United States. Good one guys.

    Goodlooking Hero is my Fav!

I'm not one to watch a lot of action movies. But, if I'm going to watch one, I'd prefer to watch someone like this guy to save the day...just like guys prefer to watch beautiful girls in movies, as opposed to fat, homely ones. Then to top it off, to watch this good-looking guy go after bad guys, because they killed his wife...that's what got me hooked. Any time a man defends his wife and kids, they've got me hooked. I'm not into any sort of fighting, without a strong cause. Going after the men that ruined his life, by killing the love of his life, is a good enough reason to me. The supporting cast was good too. I've seen the big bald guy in something recently. But the lead actor was handsome and wonderful. A good actor as well. I give this film a 10, on the females scale, for action movies.
