Undoubtedly Fuzileiro do Amor was one most weekest movie from our beloved Mazzaropi, actually he was near to say goodbye as employer and already planned his forthcoming own company PAM Filmes, now working with Cinedistri's Oswaldo Massaini somewhat they entered in dead end at Marines Corps training camp due it boxed up all in a narrow space in that place, even Mazzoropi coming on double role it wasn't enough good also never getting fire properly.
The picture became out of control, many musical numbers enforced in the picture seems boring, aside the flaming burlesque dancer Margot Morel, the confusing when the two brothers meet at asylum at Marines facility sounds like THREE STOOGES's performance, a sort of borrowed scene, quite sure Mazzaropi wasn't inspired whatsoever, although must stand out the astonishing appearance of the angry retired Seargent Honorato played magnificently by Albert Perez that later was the forerunner of the notorious Seargent Pincel in Trapalhões's series, a kind of legacy.
