When this film was in the making, Nutan was not well, a nurse used to go with her to the shooting and Nutan completed her work in this film. Also Kishore Kumar sang a song for this film. More than 30 years this film still not released.
Garajna has Chandni's starcast, Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi. All of them were in Yash Chopra's Chandni. But Garajna started before Chandni.
The film is supposed to be a typical action / revenge drama. The unique selling point was Sridevi in a dual role. Due to non-payment the main star cast took the producers to court demanding a stay order on the film's release in March 1991. The Producer was unable to ever come up with money to pay the stars and the negatives of the film sit in a bank vault to this day.
