Edit
Ayesha Jhulka had major problems with Karishma Kapoor. So when Karishma Kapoor was doing the film Ayesha refused the film when offered to her. Thats when Chandni was offered Ayesha Jhulka's role.. When Chandni walked out , Ayesha was approached again. By then Karishma Kapoor had exited the film. Thats when Ayesha agreed to sign the film.
Jeetendra was not given his remuneration for the film. He then decided to stall the dubbing until he got his money. That is when the producers played dirty with him and got a dubbing artiste to dub his lines.
Karishma Kapoor was signed but later opted out. Divya Bharti was signed to replace her.
Director Talat Jani wanted his sister in law Rubaina Khan to do the film. She refused as she did not want a career as a actress. Divya Bharti was then signed. Later when Divya Bharti passed away, Talat asked Rubaina to stand in as Divya's body double in a few scenes.
The song karma chameleon by Culture Club was sampled for the song Coming Coming Coming. The same song was the source of inspiration for the Tera Mera Mera Tera Pehla Yaarana from the movie Shart.
