Even Stevens (2000)

Trivia

Even Stevens

Edit
According to A.J. Trauth (Twitty), some shots had to be reshot as Shia LaBeouf (Louis) and Christy Carlson Romano (Ren) would sometimes slip up and swear during outtakes.
Even Stevens only lasted three seasons because Disney Channel had a policy of ending shows after only 65 episodes. This rule angered many Disney Channel fans because shows that were at the height of their popularity would end after only being on the air for a short amount of time.
Louis has a Richard Pryor comedy album in his room in the first season. By the second season it's replaced with a "cleaner" Bill Cosby comedy album.
Before initial filming, series creator Matt Dearborn took the kids to a Goo Goo Dolls concert in Los Angeles in order for the kids to build chemistry and relationships. Disney was not pleased with this as they preferred the kids to go to a more "Disney" band concert instead. Ironically enough Twitty wears a Goo Goo Dolls shirt under his Hawaiian shirt in a season 1 episode.
The series was based in Sacramento and in 2002, both Shia LaBeouf and Christy Carlson Romano did commercials for the Sacramento Rivercats minor league baseball team in order to boost ticket sales.
