Trivia

C'era un cinese in coma

Edit
Ercole Preziosi's wife Eva is Russian and speaks Russian also with their daughter Maruska. In fact, the two women are played respectively by a German (Marit Nissen) and an Ukrainian actress (Anna Safroncik).
Carlo Verdone told on a Facebook post that in a scene where his character had to fall down hanging on a rope, he had to remain 20 minutes hanging upside down because the winding machine holding the rope broke down. This was terrible for him, in particular because at time he was suffering from labyrinthitis. Verdone stated also that he suspects that the machine didn't break down for real, but instead it was purposely hold by unknown in order to picture him in that position, as it really was done. Verdone had some balance issues for at least one hour after the accident.
In the scene when Niki Renda (Beppe Fiorello) shows the new cell number of Ercole, directors Marco Manetti and Antonio Manetti are seen coming out from the club. The two directors-siblings were directing Carlo Verdone in his own production Zora la Vampira (2000) in the same year.
In some sketches Niki Renda (Beppe Fiorello) is dubbed by Carlo Verdone.
Italian censorship visa # 94252 delivered on 18-2-2000.
