`Ranjena zemlja` is the worst movie ever made.It is a camp classic that fails to be funny because it is deeply unethical. It is actually disgusting since it exploits the tragedy of the Serbian people, during NATO bombings in an immoral and incompetent way. This is why makers of this motion picture ought to be accused in the court of law.Mentioned exploitation is present through dilettante cross-over between rarely seen documentary footage and faulty fiction. `Ranjena zemlja` is one of the movies that really influence one`s perception of the seventh art since it proves that it is virtually impossible to make movies worse than this one.(This is the most polite comment for a movie that never manages to rise above the level of the author`s psychological trauma)
This is really excellent movie.Despite the critics' complete and utter distaste for the film, I found it fun, well-acted, and fast-paced. Great performances abound including Bata Zivojinovic, very well known actor.I would reccomend anyone to see this masterpiece.Camera angles worked to perfection in this production. Great music, good acting, and a solid plot. Recommend!

The story follows the events in Belgrade of 24 March 1999 year. People, displaced from their everyday lives to underground shelter, are intertwined with a TV reporter during the bombing of Yugoslavia by NATO forces.
This film, unlike its spiritual sequel, Nebeska Udica (both films feature a plot about NATO's attack on Yugoslavia as well as the actor Nebojsa Glogovac who performed the lead roles in both films), received very low ratings on IMDb and harsh reviews from the IMDb users. Despite the fact that the film is getting the undeserved disrespect from imdb users, I will not say that the low ratings for this film were put on purpose. All I want to say is that the film was filmed on a pretty high-quality level. In particular, I liked the camera work of the film, performed in mostly dark colors and various angles. I did not expect such a qualitative picture, because the country in which the film was shot was in a very difficult economic situation, it was quite unexpected to see the film so well set in terms of shooting. Among other advantages I would like to highlight the very atmospheric music score written by Zoran Khristik, as well as the good acting of the entire cast of actors, in particular Vera Cukic, Dragana Turkalj, Zarko Lausevic and above mentioned Nebojsa Glogovac, who played the role of TV reporter. Among the minor disadvantages, I could mention the places of primitive special effects, especially noticeable at the very beginning of the film.
All in all, it's a good dramatic thriller, which shows that its creators tried to make a great movie and not "The worst picture ever made!". If you like movies based on military conflicts, you definitely should give a chance to this one. And while this film may be less ambitious than "Nebeska Udica", much more popular film of the same topic, Ranjena zemlja is not a bad film by any means.

This is actually best movie i ever seen.Great acting and great performance from Velimir Bata Zivojinovic who is the Serbian best actor. He was playing roles in over 300 movies and TV productions.Very good camera shoots in this movie.
,,Ranjena zemlja'' was maded after the NATO agression on Yugoslavia 1999. Any yugoslav film about that events is certainelly very bad. I think that this movie is absolutelly the worst picture ever made. The humor, acting and all other stuff are very, very poor. But, still, I think that everyone should watch this movie because it is so dumb!
