When Iris goes to the beach to read and eventually takes a nap, the sun is in the same position when she awakes as it was when she first got there.
When Iris is speaking to her daughter from the clothing store, she says she is afraid she is going to be fired that morning. However, one can clearly see that it is dark outside, which would make it evening.
When Iris comes back from grocery shopping and mentions the parking tickets, Paula and Iris argue about where the car should have been parked. Paula complains that Iris should have parked the car on the lot, not on the street. The car was actually parked on the lot, unless Steveston has streets within parking lots.
