The character played by Massimo Boldi has got as first name Silvio and surname Galliani. They are respectively the first name and the surname of the owner and of the CEO of AC Milan at time of filming, Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani, in charge from 1986 to 2017 when the club was sold. They now (as of 2022) have the same roles at AC Monza.
Massimo Boldi and Angelo Bernabucci already starred together in a very similar role in Fratelli d'Italia (1989), already as respectively AC Milan fan and AS Roma fan.
