This show was a reformat of the long-running kids' show "Wonderama," whose host, Bob McAllister, would sing "Kids Are People Too" in each show.
In 1980, Glam Rock band, KISS first introduced their newest member at the time, Drummer, Eric Carr who had replaced Peter Criss in the band, on Kids Are People Too.
The original host, Bob McAllister, opened the show by interacting with his audience throwing a ball to various audience members, who would throw the ball back. The next host, Michael Young, opened the show by kissing the female audience members.
