Formula 1 drivers Max Verstappen and his new teammate Liam Lawson hit the track at Bahrain International Circuit on Tuesday (February 25) in Sakhir, Bahrain.

The 27-year-old four-time world champion and the 23-year-old are starting the 2025 season as new teammates on Oracle Red Bull Racing. Liam was previously a reserve driver for the team before getting the promotion after the 2024 season.

Charles Leclerc is one of the top drivers in Formula 1 heading into the 2025 season!

The 27-year-old F1 star will kick off the racing season as part of Scuderia Ferrari Hp team, marking his sixth year with the team. He holds the record for the longest contract with the team, as his current deal is reportedly not up until 2028.

Throughout his career in Formula 1, Charles has racked up 43 podiums out of 149 grands prix entered. He has picked up 1430 points with eight first place wins.

Last year, he made history twice – first by winning his home race in Monaco, and next by driving in FP1 with his brother Arthur!

In 2025, he is joined by new teammate, 7-time champion Lewis Hamilton, and the two have already been testing past cars while gearing up for the upcoming season opener in March.

Angus MacInnes, an actor most known for his role in 1977’s Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, has died. He was 77.

MacInnes died “peacefully, surrounded by his family and love” on Dec. 23, his family shared in a statement on Facebook. His cause of death wasn’t immediately available.

“His work touched countless lives, and he took great pride in being part of these stories that continue to resonate with audiences worldwide,” the statement read. “Angus was more than an actor—he was a kind, thoughtful, and generous soul who brought warmth and humor into the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and fellow actors but also by his fans around the world.”

Born on Oct. 27, 1947, in Ontario, Canada, MacInnes went on to pursue a career in acting that spanned multiple decades.

Angus MacInnes, a Canadian actor who appeared in “Star Wars: A New Hope” and “Rogue One,” has died. He was 77.

MacInnes died on Dec. 23 peacefully and surrounded by family, according to a statement by the MacInnes Family shared on social media.

“To all Angus’ fans around the world, with breaking hearts we write this: Angus MacInnes, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and actor died on 23rd of December 2024. Roku is set to air more live sports in 2025 after striking a new partnership to become the exclusive U.S. streaming home of X Games Aspen and an X Games event slated for this summer.

The competition, which was originally founded by ESPN but sold to private equity in 2022, will be available on the recently launched Roku Sports Channel. Additionally, the platform is launching an X Games TV Fast channel and will launch X Game Zone, a one-stop destination that will include programming highlights, clips, interviews, archival content and more.

“This partnership with X Games is the perfect marriage between content and distribution—more than half of The Roku Channel’s monthly Fast audience are between the ages of 18 and 49, and the X Games have built a lifestyle brand that sits right at the intersection of sports and youth culture,” Roku Media Sports head Joe Franzetta said in a statement.

Forbes dropped the list of this year’s top earning F1 drivers solely based on their salary and bonuses from throughout the year.

Many drivers can earn performance bonuses based on how well they drive throughout the year, and if they are making podium finishes, or even winning races.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, for example, clinched his fourth Drivers Championship win in a row, so he surely has been able to rack up quite the performance bonuses.

Their numbers don’t include how much they may earn from endorsement opportunities or other projects outside of their F1 team.

Esteban Ocon‘s time on the Bwt Alpine F1 Team has just ended a little sooner than expected.

The 28-year-old French Formula 1 driver made podium a few weeks ago in Brazil, his highest placement of the season, but last weekend in Qatar, unfortunately had a Dnf after an accident in the later part of the race.

On Monday (December 2), Alpine announced that Esteban has been released from the team just days before the last race of the 2024 season, and reserve driver Jack Doohan will step up and make his F1 race debut at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend.

Formula 1 teams have been mostly set for next year!

The F1 grid will look quite different in 2025 with drivers switching teams, some leaving the sport and rookie drivers joining the lineup after being promoted from F2.

There are currently 10 teams and 20 drivers in Formula 1, but who will have a spot on the grid won’t be the same as it is right now.

2025 will see several changes as many contracts were up at the end of 2024. Several have already signed multi-year extensions, and there are a couple whose future is up in the air as we near the end of the current season. There is only One open seat on the grid next year, with a team not having made a decision quite yet.

We have been keeping up with what’s been going with Formula 1 contracts and we’ve done research on who will be free agents for the 2025 season.

F1 is set to see quite a few shakeups in the 2025 season!

The driver lineup for next year is shaping up with nearly every seat accounted for, minus a couple of teams who have a vacancy at this time.

There are currently 10 teams and 20 drivers in Formula 1, but who will have a spot on the grid won’t be the same as it is right now.

2025 will see several changes as many contracts were up at the end of 2024. Several have already signed multi-year extensions, and there are a couple whose future is up in the air as we near the end of the current season. Many lineups have already been set in stone and there even some newcomers being promoted to F1!

We have been keeping up with what’s been going with Formula 1 contracts and we’ve done research on who will be free agents for the 2025 season.

Franco Colapinto is making his debut as Formula 1 driver this weekend at the 2024 Italian Grand Prix in Monza, Italy.

The 21-year-old Argentinian was promoted from reserve driver to the Williams Racing F1 team earlier this week, replacing Logan Sargeant for the rest of the season.

His promotion marks the first time there will be an Argentine driver on the grid since Gastón Mazzacane, whose last race was in 2001.

Franco was in attendance at previews day on Thursday (August 29), where he dished on how he found out about his promotion, and talked about the upcoming race this weekend.

Logan Sargeant‘s time as an F1 driver has come to an end after two seasons with Williams Racing.

The 23-year-old American driver made his official debut in 2023 with the team, but after last weekend, he is no longer on the Formula 1 team.

In his place, Formula 2 star Franco Colapinto is being promoted from Williams reserve driver to moving up to Alex Albon‘s teammate for the remainder of the 2024 season, making his debut This coming weekend at the 2024 Italian Grand Prix.

Endeavor-owned Tko Group Holdings, the company formed from the merger last year of the UFC and the WWE, reported a 29% rise in UFC revenue in the second quarter.
