As of 2025, all four houses seen in the opening shot (including the house where most of the film takes place) are still standing, and largely unchanged, though with more houses added to the neighbourhood since the time of filming. They can be seen on Google Streetview, with the main house being 9080 Leisure Point Lane, Belews Creek, North Carolina.
