Most of the music was adapted from the soundtrack to Backdraft (1991), composed by Hans Zimmer:
- "Show Me Your Firetruck" was played during the intro and during ending credits and also became known as the "Iron Chef March".
- "Burn It All" was played during the challenger's entry and when the theme ingredient was unveiled.
- "Fahrenheit 451" was played during the overviews of both chefs' dishes and when the winner was announced.
Iron Chef Chinese Chen Kenichi had the longest winning streak, at 14 battles.
Sakai finished with the best winning percentage, while Chen finished with the most career wins.
