Rajesh Joshi who passed away in 1998 had a small role in the film as Sanjay's friend which explains the delay of the film.
interlude was made into "Choo Choo Na" from Khauff (1999) & "Choone Se Teri" from Dil Ne Ikraar Kiya (1993).
Sanjay Gupta stated "Yes, it's true. Producer Vijay Tolani was getting a little impatient and wanted to release the film in a hurry. I said if that was going to be the case, then it's better I walk out. However, thankfully, we managed to sort things out and everything is okay now."
The film had a theatrical release in Canada.
The film kept getting delayed for a long time.
