    I can't believe it

I can't believe someone has seen this movie. My friends and I saw it a long, long time ago and we loved it. Ever since then we have been trying to find it. There were two copies of it at the video store i worked at but they were both bought by a real, well I have to keep it G, but a Monty Python Poser. It didn't belong in his hands but our loss I guess. It has the best one liners in the world. I have searched all over for it, even the big cities when I visit them; New York, L.A., etc. I have yet to see a copy of this. Like we all say, if you see it...grab it.

Lots of witty, clever ideas filmed on shoestring budget

The makers of this movie were obviously ambitious enough to get it filmed on a shoestring budget, without the shoe and without the string. It also looks like they used a lot of amateur actors, or just local townspeople.

But what the filmmakers had going for them were numerous humorous ideas, that are witty enough that they transcend the cheapness of the movie itself.

I think this movie is what a film by John Landis, Jim Abrams and the Zuckers would have looked like if they were in college and had no money to make it. And that's part of this movie's charm. Like their bigger budget movies, this film is a parody. And it works.

One really clever idea that's ongoing in the film -- most of the movie is in black & white, but switches to color every time there is gratuitous nudity or violence, then switches back to black & white. Also, some of the bad acting appears to be intentional, as a send-up to many of the old black & white sci-fi movies of the 50's.

Perhaps I'm giving the filmmakers too much credit, but I think they knew exactly what they wanted to make, but didn't have the resources to get it just right. But it is still enjoyable. Too bad it is impossible to find.

    Weirdly Funny

I have no idea what this movie was about but it had some really funny moments. I didn't like that it randomly switches from black and white to color but that doesn't really hurt the movie. This is one of the better movies I have seen in a while.

A rave review for the most obscure movie in the world!!

My son and I consider this one of the funniest movies ever made.

It's an extremely low budget zombie/space movie - with ludicrous performances and effects (I hesitate to call them "special!) and an outrageously hilarious script. It is the product of the cinema delivered to the truly irrational. Case in point - in the midst of this black and white sci-fi oddity there's a several minute long totally gratuitous color sequence with a somewhat comely woman flat out nude walking around in an office setting. Why? Why ask?

If you EVER EVER see this on a video store shelf - shell out the money and watch it!

DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE WHILE DRINKING MILK

DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE WHILE DRINKING MILK... unless you enjoy the sensation of milk spraying out your nostrils. It's THAT funny!

It's rare to see an intentionally "BAD" movie that is actually FUNNY. This movie is so over-the-top with its cheezy special-effects, lame acting, totally inept storytelling, and just plain DUMBNESS, it'll make your head spin with laughter. I've made all my friends sit and watch it with me at least once, and they've all LOVED it. It's simply BRILLIANT! I watch it once or twice a year just to put life into perspective.

If you love this movie, also check out two other fantastic films: Richard Elfman's "FORBIDDEN ZONE" and John Paizs' "THE BIG CRIMEWAVE"
