Edit
Michael Jackson's Billie Jean is featured in the movie. It appears when Tariq dances with bar girl Lilly.
Nasir Hussain originally launched the film in 1979 with a different star cast. The film had Dilip Kumar, Raj Kiran, and Tina Ambani, along with actors who starred previously for Hussain: Asha Parekh, Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor, Zeenat Aman, Kaajal Kiran, Amjad Khan. Hussain stopped filming after a few days, because he believed the story needed to be reworked. He revived it again 5 years later with a different star cast.
