Sujit Kumar was angry with Govinda for delaying the film's last schedule. It extended into 10 days due to Govinda and then he wanted the script changed. He had not properly listened to the film's story. When he realized his mistake, he suggested changes. Govinda also demanded that he kill the main villain. Mehul Kumar was upset with Govinda's last minute demands.
The song 'Jiya Pyar Mange Jiya' sung by Kumar Sanu was very popular at that time. It is one of his rare earlier hit song before he attained his super stardom with Aashiqui 1990.
The film was shot in the Kashmir Valley.
