The fictional SP Zero nightclub is the actual Madame Satã Night Club, one of the hottest cultural spots of São Paulo in the 1980's. Many bands had their first gigs in there such as Titãs, Ira!, RPM among others. It opened it 1983, closed down in 2009 and reopened in 2012.
The leading role is interpreted by Arrigo Barnabé. He is a pianist vanguard musician from Brasil and also wrote the movie scripts.
