Trivia

Khubsoorat

Edit
This was one of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's biggest commercial films.
Jagan's elder brother's office is the same as Golmaal's Ramprasad Sharma's office.
Rekha wore pigtails throughout the film, which she used later in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's film Jhoothi.
Ratna Pathak Shah essayed the character of Nirmala Devi in films remake Khoobsoorat 2014.Which was essayed by her mother Dina Pathak in this film.
Character actor David Abraham had already retired from films and settled in Canada. He was in India on vacation when Khoobsurat was in the making and made a friendly appearance. The scene was specially created for him by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. David later acted in two films which were shot in Canada: Ambrish Sangal's 'Door Desh' and Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 'Namumkin,' which was also David's last film.
