Vijay Sadanah is filmaker Brij Sadanah's youmger brother. Chor Ke Ghar Chor was Brij's type of film.

The movie was directed by Brij unofficially.
Shashi Kapoor signed the film but later was replaced by Randhir Kapoor. This was due to Pran and Shashi Kapoor having a very bad falling out. Shashi told the producer' to pick either him or Pran for the film. The producer chose to side with Pran.
