The film was a much-awaited film as it brought together Hrithik and Amisha once again after Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai and also Vikram Bhatt had given back to back hits. However, this one received negative reviews and was a flop at the box office.
Hrithik complained later in the media he found the story and presentation too old fashioned.
The film was originally titled " Armaan".
Produced by Hrithik Roshan's uncle's Rohit Kumar and Gautam Kumar (Mom's cousins).
Vrajesh Hirjee shot one scene in the film and left the film for unknown reasons.
