Nylonovy mesiac (1966)

Trivia

Nylonovy mesiac

Edit
The film's cast is almost completely made up of non-actors.
The film was shot in Bratislava, Jasna pod Chopkom and in Javorina (High Tatras).
At the time of the film's production, the Communist government considered men having long hair, as a sign of western decadence and was thus forbidden. Police officers had permission to forcefully cut men's hair, if they deemed it too long. The long-haired male extras in the concert scenes, had to be issued special permits by the director, in case they were accosted on the street.
Helena Smihulova (Vanda) was a university student, that was selected for her distinctive looks by the director, Eduard Grecner. He didn't like her voice, however, so her lines were overdubbed by actress Eva Chalupova.
The filming was delayed for three weeks, due to the lack of snow, while shooting the skiing lodge scenes. The production was almost canceled, but then it snowed 90cm of snow. The scenes that were planned for a week of shooting, were all completed in one day.
