One of the rare movies regularly shown to the Hitlerjugend, "Friesennot" was banned for diplomatic reasons (the German-Soviet Pact of Non-Aggression running from 23-8-1939 to 22-6-1941) before being re-released in 1941 under the title of "Dorf im roten Sturm".
