Though "Genda Phool" from DELHI-6 (2009) is said to be inspired from a traditional song but the notes are also quite similar to "Been Na Bajana" in SUNEHARI NAGIN (1963).
Laxmikant-Pyarelal were assistants to Kalyan Ji-Anand Ji in this movie. Though in the same year (1963), they composed independently in Parasmani also starring Mahipal. Initial been music was reused in Sridevi's Nagina.

The tune of the "been" solo in this song was originally used for the titles of the film "Sunehri Nagin" (1963). Kalyanji - Anandji were music directors for the 1963 film and the composers of this song, Laxmikant - Pyarelal, were assisting them in it.
