A tribute to Carmem Santos

A small but very special tribute to one of the most important figures of Brazilian cinema, the Portuguese actress, film producer and director Carmem Santos.

She left a handful of contributions in films such as "Inconfidência Mineira", "Favela dos Meus Amores" and "Onde a Terra Acaba", being revolutionary not only as a talented actress but also as a film producer, one of the first women to supervise film productions in Brazil. Sadly, her most important films were lost in a fire and her career ended abruptly and she died at an early age. This short presents her talents in a couple of film clips and stills, with the narrator presenting a little about her work and her life trajectory. A must-see for fans and curious minds who love the history of Brazil cinema. 6/10.
