Caroline Rhea, Myles Jeffrey, Matt O'Leary, and Laura Vandervoort in Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire (2000)

Trivia

Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire

Edit
Dimitri and Lynette go to a restaurant called "Renfield's". Renfield is Dracula's crazy, bug-eating sidekick.
Caroline Rhea and Charles Schaughnessy (Lynette and Dimitri) date in a season 5 episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
When they follow their mother to the restaurant downtown, the children walk under a movie theater marquee. One of the two movies listed is The Lost Boys (1986), the plot of which has the mother of two children dating a vampire. There are similar scenes in The Lost Boys and this movie, in which they try to trick the vampire into revealing himself at dinner.
The rockabilly band in the club is The Royal Crowns.
After the film premiered in 2000, Disney Channel received many complaints about a shot in which Dimitri licks his lips while looking at the family dog, presumably because he was interested in feasting on it. The shot was removed from subsequent airings.
