Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaThe events of 9/11 occurred during season 2 and was the only time house guests (the final 3) were informed of outside information. This was due to one player having direct ties to the event.
- GoofsFrequent continuity errors. It's clear that many scenes were filmed hours or days apart and then edited together with =out consideration for whether or not they visually flowed together.
- Quotes
[week 5, in the diary room, after the PoV competition]
Will Kirby: Hey Boogie, did you win PoV today?
Mike Malin: Nah. I won a trip to Aruba for two and a plasma television. Did you win PoV?
Will Kirby: No... I won uh, five thousand bucks.
[both look at camera with serious faces before bursting out in laughter]
- Crazy creditsAt the end of every eviction episode, Julie Chen Moonves ends the episode by saying 'lets eavesdrop on the house guests' and while the credits are rolling there is a live feed on the house guests.
- ConnectionsFeatured in TV's Illest Minority Moments Presented by Ego Trip (2004)
What exactly did they think was going to happen? Exciting that is. So these people are sitting around every night and we get to watch them. Wow, whoever thought of that idea was so intelligent.
I probably saw a total of ten minutes of it. How I lasted that long is beyond me. I did catch the last episode of it though only because there was nothing else on. I couldn't help but laugh at the people who actually agreed to be stuck in that house just to win half a million dollars. Of course that is a nice chunk of change, but subjecting yourself to that humiliation is beyond money.
The network might have had a winner with Survivor, but Big Brother was just a joke. Do most of us a favor and please don't try to repeat this.
